Custard Powder, especially vanila flavour, looks a lot like corn starch as usually the base is cornstarch along with salt and flavoring. Best Before : 12 Months from Packaged Date. Eggless Custard Recipe: Measure 25 g (two tablespoons) of Custard Powder into a bowl. Take 500 ml Milk. Out of that, add 1/4 cup milk to Custard Powder to make a smooth paste. Boil the remaining 3/4 cup milk with 3 heaped tableapoons (50 g) sugar. Remove from heat, add the paste and cook again for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring continuously to avoid burning. Let it cool and your delicious custard is ready to eat.
